The environment is important to us. This is why we participate in Stay for the Planet, a data hub that supports hospitality facilities in monitoring environmental performance and managing sustainability pathways through the structured collection of quantitative and qualitative data in the following areas: Energy, Water, Waste, Procurement, Behaviours, and People.
Thanks to constant monitoring of consumption, we aim to preserve resources; we rigorously carry out separate waste collection to which we ask you to contribute via the appropriate bins located in the common areas and we raise our guests’ awareness of food, energy and water waste.
Energy
Sources and consumption of electricity and heating, energy efficiency of the building and equipment.
Water
drinking water consumption (catering, rooms, services...) and water saving.
Waste
Waste production and types, waste disposal management and prevention actions.
PURCHASES
Procurement of raw materials, service materials and durable goods with less environmental impact.
BEHAVIOUR

CHow we support the environment
Actively engage on the issue of sustainability and respect for the environment through the defense of animal species that are in danger of disappearing in the coming years. This is the choice of the Roscioli family, a hospitality landmark for more than 90 years, who adopted Kala, the little Sumatran tiger born in December 2023 in Rome’s Biopark.
A certified commitment
Best Western Premier Hotel Royal Santina is honored to announce that it has been awarded the Green Key certification, a prestigious award conferred by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), which testifies to our commitment to more sustainable hospitality.
