The 2018 Men's Volleyball Championships will take place between Italy and Bulgaria. And Rome will have the honor of hosting the first phase of the tournament, with the opening match scheduled at the Foro Italico, with Italy as the absolute protagonist in a breathtaking scenario!


The Miglio di Roma is a road race event, on the distance of 1,609.34 mt, the Anglo-Saxon Mile. The race is at its 3rd edition and want to restore the traditional Corsa dei Berberi, transformed into a running race of a mile, the distance between Piazza Venezia and Piazza del Popolo.



Rome will be again the home of the world! The Via Pacis, the half marathon promoted by Roma Capitale. In addition to the competitive half marathon there will be The Running For Peace, a not competitive 5 km.



A ride of 77 miles with 6,500 ft of elevation, four timed climbs, designed for experiencd riders. Pedaling immersed in history, the magnificent scenery of the Colosseum and the Fori Imperiali through Rome, then venture out of the city amidst the beautiful landscape of Castelli Romani and Lake Albano, before returning to Rome at the Terme di Caracalla.



The New Zealand champions will return to Rome to challenge the Italian Team at the Olympic Stadium on 24 November. The test match between Italy and the All Blacks will contribute to give to Rome and to all the Italian fans a special event, the ideal springboard for the 6th Nations Championship 2019.



The most famous 10km of Italy is back: the We Run Rome 2018 on 31 December. Dedicated to running lovers and outdoor sports addicted, the We Run Rome reaches the most famous places of Rome: from the Baths of Caracalla to the Circus Maximus, passing through Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo, the Pincio, Villa Borghese, via Veneto, via of the Fori Imperiali and the Colosseum.

The Six Nations Championship 2019 will see Italy play three home match: Saturday 9 February the Italian team will host Wales, Sunday the Azzurri will play against Ireland and Saturday 16 March for the Super Saturday final round Italy will return to the Olimpico to host France.
