The 2026 Rome Carnival will enliven the city between late February and mid-March with masked parades, music, and family-friendly activities.
From the parade on the Tiber to the Tarantella at the Auditorium, to the Carnival Skate at the Pincio, squares and parks fill with color and joy, offering events spread across different neighborhoods of the city.

How to reach the Carnival events from the Hotel Royal Santina:
• Piazza del Popolo and Pincio: Metro A from Termini to Flaminio (about 10 minutes) or a 25-minute walk (2 km).
• Auditorium Parco della Musica: Metro A to Flaminio + tram 2 (about 30–35 minutes total).
• Lungotevere (historic center area): Metro B to Colosseum or Cavour, then a 10–15-minute walk (about 20–25 minutes total).
