Roma nel Mondo – MAXXI Museum
Rome's identity and role in the context of large global metropolises.
Until April 6, 2026, MAXXI hosts “Rome in the World,” an exhibition exploring Rome’s identity and role within the context of major global metropolises. Curated by Ricky Burdett, the exhibition compares the Eternal City with cities such as Paris, London, New York, Istanbul, Beijing, and Mumbai, analyzing aspects such as urban space, mobility, environment, and society through data, images, and immersive installations.
At the center of the exhibition, a large-scale three-dimensional model represents Rome in an innovative way, accompanied by graphics and projections that illustrate the city’s complex urban structure.
