The Best Western Premier Hotel Royal Santina<\/strong> joins the Stay For The Planet<\/a> project, launched by BWH Hotels Italy and Malta in collaboration with LifeGate for responsible hospitality.<\/p>\n

Stay for the Planet<\/strong> is a programme recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council <\/strong> (GSTC), the organisation that sets and guides standards for sustainable development in travel and tourism globally.<\/p>\n

The initiative is part of a strategy aimed at reducing the impact of the hotel sector through the promotion of a series of virtuous behaviours and the implementation of a system to monitor and improve the environmental and social performance of the hotels participating in the programme. Stay For The Planet represents an important management and measurement tool to support the hotel chain on its path towards an increasingly responsible hospitality model. The programme is based on a sustainability rating drawn up by the LifeGate scientific committee which, through the assignment of a score from 1 to 5 expressed in leaves, reflects the environmental and social performance of the hotels in the following impact areas <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
